We both want you to know how very much we appreciated all that you did towards making the Reunion a smashing success. As many have said, it was perfect. All those hours you put in ‘behind the scenes’ were totally worth it…. And the tributes to Jim will never be forgotten. We have his big ‘tribute” on the wall in our dining room. Many happy memories.
You should rest now (for a while, at least) knowing that you could not have done one more thing to make the weekend so wonderful.
Hope we will keep in touch, Jim and Carole Noble
This is just one of the many accolades that we received after our last Tecumseh reunion effort, five years ago. Do not miss your opportunity to reconnect with your Tecumseh friends this summer – especially if you missed the last one!
I am so glad that we were able to honour Jim Noble and his lovely wife, Carole with one huge celebration of his legacy before they were both taken from us… Life is short – Live it with your friends!
Help us find your classmates!
Many of us are in touch with at least one or two of the people we went to Tecumseh with. Please help us to make them aware of our plans by providing us with their contact information (telephone number, email and address) so that we can send them our periodic newsletter and links to our new website.
If you have information that you can provide us, please click here to help us. If you are in Class of 78, we especially need your help, as many of your classmates are still unaccounted for!
Volunteers needed!
We are also looking for additional committee members to help with the effort of organizing and executing this great event. If you are able to be on our planning committee, or if you are able to help us out in any way, please contact anyone on the committee and make it known that you are available to help us. We are looking especially for help from class of 77 and 78. Please step up and contact us here!
Door Prizes
If you own a company or are involved in a company that can offer promotional items as door prizes, or if you as an individual would like to donate an item that can be used for a door prize for the event, please let us know. It’s always nice to have some give-aways after the reunion dinner, and we hope to be able to offer some nice prizes like we have done in the past. This has always been accomplished through the assistance and generosity of our alumni.
Last Meeting Update
The last meeting of the reunion committee, held on March 26, was a very productive one. After a delicious lunch, we discussed the points mentioned above. We are having relatively good success in tracking down some of the lost alumni from our respective classes, and we are looking toward some of the siblings of our classmates that we can locate in order to get information on our missing classmates.
If you don’t know where your friend and classmate is now, but you know he has a brother, sister, parents or whoever still around, please help us by contacting those people and obtaining the information on our missing people.
The hall at the Portuguese Club looks great!
Our decorating committee checked out the hall for the Saturday night event. The Portuguese club has just finished an extensive renovation of their banquet hall and it is completely modernized and looks beautiful!
Dominic do Forno (class of 76 and President of the Portuguese Club) has assured us that they did these renovations completely with us in mind – that he wanted to put their best face on for the alumni of Tecumseh!
Changing It Up
I hope you are enjoying the newsletters that your reunion committee members are sharing. I think it’s nice to hear from other members of our alumni besides me, and I think the people who have released newsletters so far have done a tremendous job – except I have no idea what Tom O’Brien was trying to get at with his newsletter – CLIQUEY?? Class of 76?? I don’t think so!!
Truth be told, the Class of ’77 seems to be engaging in our efforts more than any of the other years, and when they start buying their tickets for the reunion in earnest, it’s quite possible that they will blow the other two years away!
As it stand presently, class of 76 has the most tickets sold, so make sure you get involved and buy your ticket today!
Click HERE to buy your tickets now!
Commemorative t-shirts are being sold in advance ($10) and, in limited supply, at the reunion ($15). Here’s a look at the design, by Rob Fraser, Tecumseh alumni Class of ’75. Photos from the event will also be available for download, and can be purchased in advance.
Order your t-shirt and photos here!

Paul Donovan
Hi Reunion Committee,
I’m a 1977 alumni. I really want to attend the event but I have no control on my schedule this far ahead. I have the event in my calendar. Once it gets closer to the date and I see my schedule I’ll be signing up. I’m traveling from Vancouver so its not exactly something I can get to quickly.
